motorola-devour.jpgThe Motorola DEVOUR, the latest Droid series Motorola from Verizon Wireless, is now available at PageTronics Wireless!  Come in today to check it out.  It features Google's Android operating system with the MOTOBLUR software.  MOTOBLUR is what sets the DEVOUR apart from our other Driod series models.  It automatically gathers all your messages, posts, tweets, contacts and pics and puts them all in one place on DEVOUR's home screen. It lets you send messages and data to multiple places at once, without having to open lots of apps.  The DEVOUR is only $149.99 after a $100 mail in rebate with a new 2yr agreement!

Price is $249.99 in store.  $149.99 price after submission of $100 mail in rebate offer.  New 2yr agreement required.  Early termination fees and other restictions apply.  See store for details.

motorola-devour.jpgThe Motorola Devour is essentialy the cousin to the Motorola Droid.  It will feature a lower resolution display and only a 3 mega-pixel camera, but adds an optical scroll pad as well as Motorola's BLUR software.  It will feature many of the same specs and features as the Motorola Droid with it's slide out full qwerty keyboard, bulit in Wi-Fi and GPS Navigation.  It will most likely feature a lower price tag as well for those who dream of the Motorola Droid, but have nightmares about the price tag.  Look for this device to hit stores in mid-March.

Check back with us soon for info on the Motorola BLUR software.

Recently it was announced that the Motoroal Droid will receive Android 2.1 update. The update will be rolled out using the over the air update system. At this time no date is given other than 'soon'. Motorola and Google have been working closely together for some time to bring this update to life.

For Droid Eris users you are not forgotten, Android 2.1 is also coming although there may be a delay or an additional upgrade in between.

New features in 2.1 includes animated backgrounds which look absolutely amazing. I have seen some videos demoing the new software and it looks great. Also included is every text field is a speak-to-text field. This should make texting easier.
